Remington Industries offers this 3M™ Filament-Reinforced Electrical Tape #46, which is commonly used in applications such as lead anchoring and banding of coils. Designed for continuous operation not exceeding 130°C per UL and CSA listings, the tape is coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that does not require any heat, moisture, or other preparation to properly bond. The white polyester film glass filament reinforced backing plus the thermosetting rubber adhesive make for an industrial-grade tape with a minimum breaking strength of 180 lb/in. The tape comes on rolls of 60 yards (54.9 meters), which have a 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacture when properly stored.
