Easy to weld and form, this 304 stainless steel flat bar is a general-purpose, ASTM A276 compliant raw material for use in a variety of projects. It responds well to hardening by cold working and is highly resistant to corrosion and heat. This high quality product is made of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. It therefore has greater oxidation resistance when used in temperatures up to 1,600°F. Further information:
