Our high quality stainless steel 304 is comprised of 8 percent nickel and 18 percent chromium, which means it has good oxidation resistance when used in temperatures up to 1,600°F. Not only does it meet ASTM A276 specifications, but it’s also a general-purpose steel alloy that can be welded and formed with ease. It benefits from high resistance to corrosion and heat, and responds well to hardening by cold working. This particular stainless steel flat bar measures ¼” x 2”, with 10 lengths to choose from.
