This ASTM A276 304 general-purpose stainless steel plate contains up to 8 percent nickel and 18 percent chromium, which gives it a superior oxidation resistance when exposed to temperatures up to 1,600°F. Easy to form or weld, it can withstand heat and corrosion and will respond well to hardening by cold working. Important details:
