Meeting ASTM A276 specifications, this 304 stainless steel square bar is made of a general-purpose steel alloy with a superior resonance to corrosion and heat. It can be easily welded or formed and will respond well to hardening by cold working. Having 8 percent nickel and 18 percent chromium in its composition gives it greater oxidation resistance when presented with temperatures up to 1,600°F.
