MIL-Spec M16878/4 Type E hook-up wire consists of a silver-plated copper conductor insulated with a PTFE (Teflon) jacket. It is rated for up to 600V and 200°C (398°F). The overall diameters of the wire in this category range from 0.032"–0.080" (30–16 AWG).
